Alternative Enterprises offers
training on any type of musical product, including music
software. Training can be done here at the Alternative
Recording Studio, or I can come to you, especially if the
equipment involved is numerous and/or not very portable.
As far as I know, the Alternative is the only source
offering training on music equipment in northeast
Wisconsin.
Pricing:
As of January 1st 2009,
Alternative Consulting charges $40/hr. for all training
done here at the studio. Where travel to you is the case,
I have a sliding rate scale, where it costs less per hour
the longer I am there as follows:
1st hour: $50.00
2nd hour: $45.00
3rd hour: $40.00
4th hour: $35.00
5th and subsequent hours will be locked in
at $30/hr.
This includes gas and travel time
within a 35-mile radius of the studio, which includes
Green Bay and all of the Fox Valley. Beyond 35 miles you
will be charged $1 per mile, one-way, to cover the
additional gas and drive time. Minimum charge $50 (1
hour).
Research and phone support/follow-up
is included in the price, within reason.
Computers:
Although I don’t work on computers
extensively, sometimes it is necessary in order to get a computer
music system working properly. I charge the same pricing
structure as Consulting above for computer repair,
installation, upgrading, optimization, etc. . . If I don’t
feel I am equipped to handle your particular issue, I will
try my best to refer you to someone who is.
